Last Updated: January 2026

NXTHAUL Import & Export Management LLC (“NXTHAUL,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides international trade support services, including verification, transaction oversight, and coordination. We do not own, sell, manufacture, or transport goods, nor do we act as a freight forwarder or carrier.

This Shipping & Freight Policy applies only to clients enrolled in NXTHAUL’s 360 Solution Package, where shipping coordination and oversight form part of the agreed scope of services.

1. Scope of This Policy

Under the 360 Solution Package, NXTHAUL may assist with:

  • Coordinating freight arrangements

  • Reviewing and aligning shipping terms

  • Overseeing documentation related to shipment

  • Supporting communication between clients, suppliers, and logistics providers

NXTHAUL does not physically handle cargo or assume responsibility for transportation.

2. Shipping Terms (Incoterms)

NXTHAUL supports transactions structured under Incoterms® 2010 and 2020, including but not limited to:

  • EXW (Ex Works) – Goods made available at the supplier’s premises

  • FOB (Free On Board) – Goods delivered to the port of export

  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) – Freight and insurance arranged to the destination port

  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) – Delivery coordinated to final destination, including duties where contractually agreed

The applicable Incoterm is agreed in writing between buyer and seller and reflected in the relevant commercial documentation. NXTHAUL’s role is limited to guidance, review, and oversight.

3. Freight Methods

Depending on transaction structure, destination, and urgency, freight may be arranged via:

  • Air freight

  • Sea freight

  • Rail freight

  • Courier or express services (for samples or documents)

NXTHAUL works only with verified logistics providers, but does not guarantee carrier performance or transit times.

4. Export & Shipping Documentation

NXTHAUL may assist with coordinating or reviewing standard shipping documents, which may include:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading or Air Waybill

  • Certificate of Origin (where required)

  • Inspection or quality documentation (if applicable)

Clients remain responsible for ensuring all import permits, licenses, and destination-specific requirements are in place.

5. Shipping Insurance

Where insurance is included under the agreed Incoterm (such as CIF or DDP), coverage is arranged through third-party insurers.

Where insurance is not included:

  • Clients may request assistance arranging coverage, or

  • Clients may secure insurance independently

NXTHAUL does not underwrite or insure cargo.

6. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines depend on production schedules, routing, and carrier performance. Typical transit estimates are:

  • Air Freight: 5–10 business days

  • Sea Freight: 25–40 business days

  • Rail Freight: 15–25 business days

All timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.

7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

NXTHAUL may assist with reviewing export documentation for compliance with origin regulations.

Unless DDP terms are expressly agreed in writing:

  • Import duties, VAT, taxes, and destination clearance charges remain the responsibility of the buyer

  • NXTHAUL does not act as importer of record

8. Delays, Disruptions & Force Majeure

NXTHAUL is not liable for delays or losses resulting from:

  • Carrier or port congestion

  • Customs inspections or holds

  • Natural disasters, strikes, political events, or force majeure

  • Third-party logistics failures

Where delays occur, NXTHAUL will assist in communication and coordination, but cannot control outcomes.

9. Limitation of Responsibility

NXTHAUL’s role is limited to oversight and coordination. We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier performance

  • Cargo loss or damage

  • Customs decisions

  • Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers or logistics providers

Responsibility lies with the parties contractually responsible for transport and delivery.

10. Governing Terms

This policy must be read together with:

  • The applicable Engagement Agreement

  • The agreed transaction structure and Incoterms

In case of conflict, the written engagement agreement prevails.
